Fundraising and Marketing Assistant Manager


The Fundraising and Marketing Assistant Manager is a key member of JUST FEEL with responsibility for developing and delivering our fundraising and marketing strategies, including management of our donor relations. The role also has lead responsibility for marketing across the charity, particularly focusing on media and digital channels, providing copy and strategic direction, but also including marketing of our services, and the development of our reach across Hong Kong through face-to-face and other activities.


In particular, the post holder will take overall responsibility for:


  • Self-Motivated fundraising leadership, achieving financial targets.

  • Marketing and communications leadership which ensure we hit our goals for awareness and supporter engagement.

  • Planning, budgeting and developing the fundraising and marketing functions.

  • Constant communication and collaboration with other teams in JUST FEEL to enhance internal collaboration

  • Passion in Education, especially on Compassionate Communication and Social Emotional Learning

  • Vision alignment with JUST FEEL

  • Preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience in event management, marketing communications and/or public relations, fundraising

  • Result-oriented and KPI driven

  • A great team player with excellent interpersonal skills and can work well with multiple stakeholders

  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese

Fundraising Delivery and Implementation
  • Review, develop, implement and manage our fundraising and marketing strategies.

  • Provide guidance and leadership on events, corporate, community and individual giving fundraising.

  • Map out the various opportunities to build or maintain relationships with major donors (in-person visit, committee support, timely communications, cultivation events, volunteer opportunities).

  • Prepare proposals, PowerPoint and various materials that effectively motivate action from donors or potential partners.

  • Prepare reports on project updates, financial information, program analysis and evaluation; assist in preparing the annual financial budget and monthly forecasts.

  • Lead on developing our individual fundraising strategy, moving our fundraising work into local communities.

  • Develop channels to acquire potential monthly and one-off donors and implement fundraising campaigns and products to maximize fundraising results.

Marketing and communications
  • Provide effective marketing leadership for the organization in collaboration with the Executive Director and drive forward transformational integrated marketing activities and campaigns.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align, develop, execute and manage marketing strategies and activities across channels effectively, by ensuring the readiness of materials, activity and engagement pieces for other staff to influence, if not empowering our beneficiaries to further promote JUST FEEL’s Vision and Mission.

  • Maintain our channels such as our website, emails and social media.
